On 6000 lbs axle add 17" to length of axle for hub face measurement. Tie Down Torsion Hub Face Information On 3500# Torsion Axles add 13.25" to Axle length to get the Hub face to Hub face measurement.  (Example 78" + 14" = 92") On 6000# Torsion Axles add 16.5" to Axle length to get the Hub Face to Hub Face measurement.  (Example 76" + 16.5" = 92.5 Don't get caught on the side of the road with a broken axle.  A broken axle caused an individual to spend more money in towing and boat repairs than the individual would have spent to have a new axle installed by McClain Trailers.  McClain Trailers  repair facilities is equipped to handle all situations in an expedient manner. McClain does not weld or drill a hole in the axle for the spring holder.  McClain uses an axle saddle.  See item # 367 above
